Aussie Hoops Term 1, 2024 registration NOW OPEN
Registration is through the PlayHq portal of Basketball Victoria, Link above. Part of the costs go towards BV annual player registration and this mainly covers their provided insurance. The other cost is the actual provision of the program through coaches , court space and equipment , this is our Timberwolves Registration cost , Finally all, NEW Aussie Hoopers must purchase the introductory starter pack , comprising a playing top and size 5 basketball. Now your child is all kitted up and ready to go learning basketball.
Each Term is a new program and a registration must be made to gain entry . Returning Hoopers do not need to purchase the starter pack and may not need to pay the annual BV player registration.
Aussie Hoops at Timberwolves caters for young children wishing to learn Basketball . The program is run in a fun environment with lots of games designed to enhance and grow basketball skills. It is a non competitive way for beginners 5-10 years old to enjoy basketball.
Aussie Hoops introduces children to basketball in a structured and accredited environment that connects our game at the grassroots through to the elite level. Our national coaching curriculum and sequentially developed program consists of warm-up games, skill activities and modified games all delivered by our accredited coaches.
When you come along you will notice that the entire Timberwolves Basketball Club is at the Waverley stadium training on Mondays . You are part of the Wolves Family. We allocate a whole court to Aussie Hoops usually split into 4 groups, over each Monday & Tuesday, up to 2 courts
Sessions run during normal Victorian School Terms, so TERM 1, 2024 is an 8 week program .
We run 2 sessions each week on Mondays and Tuesdays. When registering for the program , choose either Monday 4.00 to 5.00 pm ( available on one court , Max 20 players) or Tuesday from 4.00 to 5.00pm.( available on 2 courts, max 40 players )
A total of 8 sessions in all for each Monday and Tuesday during Term 1, 2024
